The closest geographical stop can be served by a different line than the one you need. Use the means of transport option to limit the list to bus, train, metro, commuter train, tram or other relevant option.
Real time means that the departure has an updated estimated time. If real time data are missing, the scheduled timetable will be displayed.
Check operational disruptions before travelling
Delays, cancelled services, track works and relocated stops can affect the journey even if the next departure looks normal. Read the disruption notices before you leave.
For longer journeys, you should also check the carrier's own travel planners and connections.

The nearest stop is not always the best option
In areas with multiple traffic modes, a station a little further away can provide a faster or easier journey than the nearest stop.
Within the same search radius there may be bus, commuter train, metro, train, tram or boat depending on where you are.
Therefore, compare several relevant stops when available.
Real time and timetable are not the same
Real-time information attempts to describe the current departure, while a planned time comes from the timetable.
If current real-time information is missing, a planned time may still be useful, but it should not be presented as if it were verified real-time.
Also look at the walking distance to the stop. A departure in two minutes will not help if you do not get there.
